The Loft at Sennen/ March 5, 2020/ Uncategorised

We’ve had some epic storms this winter – Dennis and Ciara certainly made their presence felt for a few days.  We did our best to get pics but sometimes it was actually too windy to open the windows.  We were certainly very glad we’d done all the roof repairs last year.   But there’s nowhere better in Sennen for a spot of storm-watching.  Check out our Insta or Twitter to see some of the more impressive waves that tore through.  The sand on the beach was different every day.  Regular visitors to the Cove will know that the beach changes shape every year – sometimes there are more rocks than others, but even if the sand is dragged out by a storm, it soon appears back again.  We did manage a January New Year’s Day dip, though.    But now we’re in to March it does feel that Spring is just around the corner – the gorse is flowering, and we’ve even spotted some primroses peeking up…Here’s a little pic from last week as we were heading to the Sennen Farmer’s Market. Roll on summer!

Spring is coming to Sennen Cove!
